SLIDING & PROPORTIONAL FEES

All fees are rounded up to the nearest minute.
The total billing may be a combination of more than once service, depending upon what service is requested.
Since the process is Internet and ISP dependent - reasonable delay times are built into the process.

A) "Solve & Send" Off Camera assistance within 36 hours

($24 per hour, $.40 per minute)

For client-students that have access to a scanner, digital camera, or can type the problems and e-mail them,
the solution procedures can be made available within 36 hours by return e-mail with attachments.
If problems have already been solved by the student, evaluations with corrections will be made.
The time required retrieving, solving, correcting, and sending are billed at this rate.
The 36-hour range begins upon receipt of the e-mail (not when it is sent!).
Historically, the complete turnaround averages around 12-14 hours but the 36-hour window is guaranteed.

B) Scheduled Off Camera Tutoring and help within 10 hours

($33 per hour, $.55 per minute)

Like "Solve & Send" in format, it is the complement to Direct Camera Tutoring.
Problems are solved with explanations, and then sent as an e-mail attachment and/or recorded for Direct Camera Tutoring.
This can be used as a stand-alone feature but because of the time limits, it is rarely suggested.

C) Direct Camera Tutoring

($39 per hour, $.65 per minute)

Problem solutions and explanations are provided right before your eyes in an easily downloaded digital camera form
that can be sent to you as an e-mail attachment, which you can study at your convenience.
You make the appointment time and submit the problems and difficulties via phone, fax, and/or
e-mail attachment several hours preceding the scheduled tutoring session and a short video of their solution will be sent back to you.

You may click on the link for an example of the "Various Webcam Videos" and the style you can expect.

D) Weekly Lock In time ($40 an hour) - guaranteed availability for 1 hr blocks

(no fraction times)

With this option, you have a guaranteed weekly appointment at the available time of your choice,
with which to work on whatever problems or subject material that you need tutoring in, and using any combination of
Off and Direct Camera Tutoring.
Unlike (B) and (C), you have the added benefit of full interactivity for that entire hour and there are no pauses or adjusted or partial fees.
You will have my undivided attention.
If you need more time than an hour, any remaining time required (IF immediately available) will be billed at $.70 per minute.
If not immediately available, it will be billed at $.50 per minute (my response will be within 8 hours).

E) Emergency - Last Minute tutoring within 6 hours notice

($54 per hour, $.90 per minute) - IF AVAILABLE

This is for those times when you're hit with an assignment that is due the next day and you don't know where to begin.
Unlike (D), there is no minimum time but it is totally based on tutor availability.
Like (D), any combination of Off and Direct Camera Tutoring is available for up to 1.5 hours.

F) Paper editing for grammar, syntax, semantic, punctuation, and logic errors with 72 hour turn-around

(MSW or WP format - $24 per hour, $.40 per minute) -if available!!

(Best to schedule in advance or submit the paper in sections)

Since a proper "read through" may take better than an hour with a red pen (depending on the length
of the paper and the number of errors), this is a service I provide only for regular students who have
logged at least 4 hours of tutoring time with me. If excessive numbers of errors plague the paper,
no more than 1.5 hours will be spent on any edit until the corrections already noted
(and like corrections) have been made by the student.

Referral Credit

Over the past few years, I have had several students refer friends and family members to
me who needed educational assistance of various kinds. If you do refer someone to me, please let me know
and I will make the inquiry of them when they book a time.
When confirmed and their first session is completed, I will credit the person making the referral with $20 credit towards their account.
The $20 is NOT refundable as cash and a maximum of $100 referral credit is available at any time.
The $20 credit is redeemable only if and when I have space available for tutoring a new student.
Please, do NOT spam my site to others in order to get referrals.
